Welcome to our new blog where we will share our simple tips to help you save time, money and your sanity.
In honor of our blog launch, we are giving away a $50.00 E-card from Kohl’s.
All you have to do to enter is leave a comment and let us know what you think about our new site. That’s it. It’s that easy.
One entry per person, please.
Contest will end Monday, July 21, 2008 and the winner will be announced Tuesday morning.
Winner will be selected using Random.org’s Integer Generator.

This is the first time I have visited your site and I have to say it not only is helpful but very interesting. I am frugal to start with because I have to be with the economy the way it is and living in Maine the heating bill is going to be the end of me if I don’t cut cost some where in order to pay for my heating bill I’m going to be mighty cold at -40 this winter so any tips on how to save and be frugal is a welcome suggestion. Like your site. Having raised six kids and now with five grandkids-being frugal has become a way of life. I once joked to my sister-in-law that I could cook pinto beans in everything but dessert. She then sent me a recipe for a pinto bean cake. Keep up the good work

I find the site attractive and filled with interesting ideas. I like the 10 ways to organize your home. I think I can use some of the ideas. I think with the way things are going with gas and food prices frugal is going to be all of our middle names.

I really love the new site! I am a very frugal mom and I am always looking for a new site to exchange ideas with other frugal moms. I really like the layout of this one, it seems more my style than ones that I have found lately. I will be back for sure. I need to learn some new tricks with the higher gas, food and EVERYTHING prices - for sure! LOL! Hubby and I had paid off a few bills and had a little more green left at the end of the month and he wanted me to stop doing some of the frugal things I had been doing, but now he is backing me 100% and even trying to get in on the act. I like your site. I am really looking forward to reading more great tips on using leftovers or in my house I refer to them as ‘planned overs’ - gotta word it just right for those picky eaters. I like this place. I like that you have real and useful tips. I can’t stand frugal sites that expect you to sell damn near everything you own and then use 3000 coupons every time you shop.
The garage sale post was very useful (and very timely. I had a similar situation with a pair of sneakers for my daughters a few weeks back).
The tips here seem very reasonable and very practical. I can do that. I’ll be adding you to my Google Reader.

I love your site. Three reasons I deserve this prize package is first I got laid off from my job last month. Second is I just spent five days in the hospital because of a severe case of the flu. Lastly and most important reason I deserve this is When my daughter was five my parents took her from me due to my alcoholism. I moved to florida April 4 2007, the day my daughter turned 19, with 10 1/2 years sobriety, my car payed off and money saved for the move after years of working two and three jobs.
mothers day 2008 I saw her get her associates degree with 3.8 GPA. Even though she lives five minutes from me, she sent me a card saying thanks for being at my college graduation, standing beside me and cheering me on

This is a great site for women that have been “programed” into buying for convenience, buying packaged food, processed food, and prepacked food. We should all go back to homemade from scratch. You have touched on the fact that is not that much harder to do. You just have to stock your pantry with the things you need. Our kids will be much healthier if we skip the fastfood, and packaged food! (Sorry for the speech))

I love anything with the word Frugal attached to it! but if you want real constructive comments, I think the sidebars are a little cluttered, the white background doesn’t do anything to draw the lots of small segments together and the banner also adds to the cluttered feel. I would pare down your banner to a more simple single picture and maybe add a simple background coordinated with that banner to bring it all together into a cohesive picture.
